My father in law went in for a routine colonoscopy and is now critically ill at riverside regional with septic shock due to Dr.Long perforating his bowel. When asked how this happened he told my mother in law that the perforation must have been there from a previous colonoscopy. As a medical professional myself this is completely impossible a perforated bowel does not go unnoticed for over a year and leads to septic shock within hours. Was not happy with being a patient of his. Valerie doesn't know how to talk to people. I was in the ER for my Crohn's where the doctor told me to stop taking a medication that Dr. Long prescribe to me. When I called the office to let them know that I had been to the ER and what took place. Valerie became very rude and basically told me I don't know anything about my care. Then when she talk to him he told me that he doesn't think it was the medicine because he has never had this complaint from any of his other patients. I no... read more
