The restaurant itself is nothing to shout out about, it has the atmosphere of a down home bbq joint. When you walk in you immediately know it's going to be really good or really really bad. Thankfully it was so good! Our waitress was a doll and very attentive. My dirty baked potato was massive and delicious. I highly recommend a stop here. Thank you for the friendly conversation, great service, and delicious food❤️
Came here on Family Day from Ft. Sill and was treated like part of the family. I had the loaded potato with brisket and a brisket sandwich with coleslaw and veggies needless to say everything was delicious. Great food, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the area!
Great BBQ and customer service. The owner welcomed my military family. I appreciate the attention to detail for our meal. I wanted to honor my family member with a meal post training. He delivered. Top tier restaurant. I appreciate the hospitality.
100/10 , the absolute best home cooked, family meal you will find anywhere. From the moment we walked in the door, to the moment we left, the atmosphere was phenomenal… the food … just amazing! I will continue to shout from the roof that every single person should come eat here!!
I was really looking forward to some good barbecue, but this place fell short in every way. The meat was incredibly dry and tough, as if it had been sitting out for way too long before being served. The sides were bland and didn't taste fresh at all, and the service was just as bad as the food. I honestly don't understand the hype and left feeling like I completely wasted my money on a very disappointing meal. John & Cook's Real Pit BBQ
