We came here for lunch on our son's Family Day at Fort Sill. Boy did we make the right decision. First, the food was absolutely delicious and worth it. Second, the 4th generation owner Lonzo, made our meal particularly special and memorable by honoring our son with some wonderful words of gratitude for his service.
I've noticed that the quality at John and Cook's has declined recently. I ordered a slab of ribs for $28, but what I received was more like beef jerky. I hope they can address this issue, as I used to enjoy their food.
My first time dining here and definitely my last. I was highly disappointed with how bland the food tasted. There’s absolute no seasoning on any of the food they serve here. The service was ok and the atmosphere was mediocre. This is not the place for great tasting BBQ. I do not recommend this restaurant.
This place is a must! Lawton, OK and best BBQ ever! Ask for the rib tips! Still old school vibe and the potato salad is to die for! 1 suggestion....I need 2 scoops baby! Family ran and family friendly! I highly recommend this place! Tell'em The Butlers sent you!
I asked for a turkey legs I got two burnt turkey legs I paid $30 I got to go to Cracker Barrel to get my Thanksgiving dinner I will never go back to them never will I go back to him for any holidays I like I said not recommended I want to go somewhere else for Thanksgiving or Christmas I'm going to the health department regarding this matter and also the Better Business Bureau regarding this Sean ever give somebody burnt in charge of outrageous price even gave him a tip can I wish I hadn't so if you if you'd like to go back ... read more
