I referred my mother to Dr Cook a few years ago. My mother Toni Holcomb has always said amazing things about Dr Cook. About a month ago my mom scheduled an appointment that was not on the schedule. The office got her in. My mother 71 years old was a yellow as a lemon!!! My mother stated that he seemed in a hurry. So basically gave he some powder stuff and antibiotics said it was her liver, gallbladder, or pancreas. My mother was itching from the inside so bad she was in tears. Dr Cook is amazing! Actually listens to what you are saying. You never have to wait for him. He is quick yet thorough. I hope he never leaves St. Joe!
Not surprised he has been selected as Physician of the year. He is caring, compassionate, tells you straight forward what is going on with you, responds really quickly through the portal. You feel a part of the treatment team for your own healthcare. And yes he expects you to follow through after the office visit.
All I have to say is that Dr. Cook listens to his,patient & doesn't let you leave feeling as though what you have to describe to him isn't worth his time, that you're just whimpy about pain, you're just getting older, and/or you're just plain crazy. Keep up your great service.
