Dr. John Clayton Clohisy, Jr. is an excellent surgeon, very kind and personable, answers all questions and concerns. I highly recommend him for spinal surgery.
I am so very thankful I was referred to Dr. John C. Clohisy, Jr.! I had a severe herniated disc in my cervical spine and he performed an Anterior Cervical Discectomy Fusion at C5-C7, C6 corpectomy and autograft. I am ever so grateful for this surgeon!!
I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Clohisy and his team. When I first meet him he was very professional and took the time to explain everything clearly as well as answer all of my concerns. He then proceeded to give me options. I chose to skip the epidural shot and proceed with a microdiscectomy as I was in a lot of pain with a large herniated L5/S1. I had been experiencing pain in the lower right side of my back, hip and leg for many months. I made an appointment with Dr. Clohisy, he reviewed my tests, answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. I was in the hospital overnight. I followed his instructions and returned for follow up appointments.
