The power shower pump in my house failed and I required a replacement. I googled UK cost of replacement and the cost came back £250 - £450 depending on complexity of work. I contacted John Clarkson to come and quote for a new pump and they quoted over £800. I contacted the pump manufacturer and asked them to quote for the modern pump equivalent and they came back with a figure of £222.
