Slowly I remembered why I have not been to this hospital in 9 years. . . I've been here since before 2... Have not seen anyone or get anything but triage and I've been here hrs before anyone in here and the wait room was empty when I got here. Realizing that medical professionals everywhere don't get enough praise is not enough. We need to let them know. I KNOW YOUR SHIFTS ARE NOT ALWAYS EASY BUT I AM THANKFUL FOR YOUR TIME, TRAINING AND SACRIFICE. Please be kinder, not everyone in pain is faking for drugs.
4 people I know (including myself) have been to this ER in the last 5 years and not a single one has waited less than 4 hours. My son and I arrive at 9:30pm on a Saturday, he had a large gash on his upper lip from falling and hitting his head on a nerf gun. At 1:30am the lady at the desk informed me that I was "better off going to another hospital" because their wait time was only 45 minutes and it was unlikely my son would be seen in that time here.
