Always nearly an hour wait, and the office manager does not respond well when asked how much longer he'll be. We have had to leave and reschedule several times due to waiting so long.
His wife (the secretary) was rude and very unprofessional. Often times unable to do her job correctly with insurance, billing, and record sending.
Dr. Heflin was more than proficient. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and spent as much time as was necessary to ensure that I understood my medical condition as well as providing a succinct prognosis and plan forward. However, his main secretary or receptionist was downright rude, mean, impatient, and even cruel. I believe that she enjoys and revels in her vitriolic position of authority. He's a guesser as to what's wrong with you. He loves to spew his right wing politics during your visit, and I can't stand either party so I don't care, but I'm not there for that so.... His secretary is very rude, and every form you have them fill out they act as if you are really bothered or put out. And when I switched doctors because I moved they wouldn't give my new doctor any of my medical records. None!!! As if I wasnt even a patient for 10 years.
This guy never gets his nose out of his computer and uses you as a drug test dummy.
Dr. Heflin takes his time to talk to me and answer all my questions. He has made suggestions which have saved me money.
