Despite an online request for service marked "Urgent. Toilet clogged," Flood failed to respond. I called Haynes Plumbing, who showed up within the hour. Perhaps Flood is so large they can afford to ignore potential customers; they lost out on a full toilet replacement, a $800 job which went to their competitor.
Had a great experience today with John C Flood when we just got home from a delayed flight and arrived at 5am to a condo sitting at 93 degrees. Called John C Flood and their on-call guy made it to our place in about 1.5 hours when we were quoted 2 hours. Brian and his assistant Raul were super friendly and explained the issue so we understood what was going on and also how to proceed if the issue persists as the work they did today may only be a temporary fix to a bigger problem. Other than having a hard time getting some paperwork faxed over once and getting a call back once, they've been great for me. They installed an HVAC unit 8 years ago, installed a hot water heater 3 years ago, and then came back several times when I had some crazy tenants who kept trying to complain about things, and they replaced coils and replaced a thermostat on the hot water heater and didn't charge me anything.
