Dr Batter performed my father's article valve replacement when Dad was 71. He died of cancer 15 years later. Three years come September he replced mine. Great Doctor and a great surgeon.
Dr. Batter was my surgeon for Bypass surgery 2 years ago & he was great! Couldn't think of a better Thoracic Surgeon.
I regret to say that our experience with Dr. John T. Batter was highly disappointing and frustrating. My father recently underwent heart surgery and was in critical care, during which Dr. Batter was the on-call cardiologist responsible for his treatment. I have spent 48 years in healthcare and know excellent surgeons and great teams when I see them. I had first hand experience with a superb surgeon (Dr. John Batter) leading a great team (his CABG Patch Kids) at Methodist Hospital in early July. If you want Miss Congeniality, go to a Sandra Bullock movie. If you want consistently outstanding surgical results, go see Dr. Batter and his wonderful team.
