Joe Bigelman is a very friendly person to work with, but that doesn't negate the fact that he and his associates messed up our loan from the beginning. I asked, repeatedly, to not be sold to two specific large banks. When my mortgage was placed with one of those banks, Joe told me that John Adams would work with me to redo the loan with minimal closing costs so my loan could be sold to a smaller bank. RecommendedJoe Bigelman is excellent to work with. Not only has he helped me with two mortgages, but he also has given me great advice with regard to financing options, even when not actively working on a deal for me. Joe is hard working, decent, honest and very friendly. I highly recommend.
Joe is an absolute rock star! This guy knows the law, knows the industry, knows the market, is incredibly responsive and professional, and (in short) is a breath of fresh air in the industry. I strongly recommend him.
Joe wrote our mortgage in December 2018. The monthly payment he showed us was way below other lenders. In December 2019 we were told by our mortgage company that the mortgage was written incorrectly and that our payment was going up $400 a month. Joe had used tax numbers from 2002, despite the current taxes being available online. Joe's response to us was simply “I'm sorry you don't know how taxes work,” and he said that a $400 increase was typical after the first year. --N.I. in Clawson
By far THE worst experience I have ever had with a mortgage company was with this company represented by Joe Bigelman on 5/9/19. My boyfriend of 6 months was his client and signing papers for a home loan in which he had already purchased from seller. I being a supportive girlfriend went along with him and while having 80% of the paperwork signed, Bigelman asks what our relationship is.
