I have to agree that perhaps only healthy people or men should see this doctor. He is smart but also I believe he is biased. If you are a woman or born female with a mental health diagnosis, consider other options. I may have something really seriously wrong with me and he postponed all labs by four weeks in order to make me prove that my symptoms are long lasting and not caused by my mind... I've lost 20 lbs now in one month while trying to gain weight.
Dr. Moen has been my primary care physician since 2007, and he's been fantastic. He always listens to my concerns, is quick to respond (be it to a question, an appt request, or a medication refill. When I need to make an appt, I'm usually in within days, a week at the latest. I'm a bit of a complicated patient and am hospitalized fairly regularly (oddly enough, his daughter has been my inpatient physician and is similarly wonderful). Best doctor I ever had. Peerless care.
The worst doctor I've ever heard of or had. On our first and only meeting he didn't listen to a word I said and used irrelevant information from over 13 years ago (you don't need to rudely talk down to me about an STD I had at 12 from being r*ped, when I only came in for ADD medication) plus, he told me I had Borderline Personality Disorder because a MIDWIFE I met one time, and she wasn't qualified to diagnose anyone, apparently diagnosed me and he was taking it as FACT.
