I’ve been seeing Dr. Hunter for about 8 months and I have learned so much from him. We see each other virtually which helps with my busy schedule (but he offers in person if that is your jam). I feel like I am beginning to become “unstuck” from bad habits, illogical/inaccurate ways of thinking, and negative cycles of behavior. I can’t recommend him enough! He has taught me a lot of practical life skills and coping mechanisms and has been integral to my healing and to being the best version of me for myself and my daughters.
My standards are high ! Dr. Hunter is a person that I can reach out to when I need an ear, at any time of day or night !! I can’t say or thank him enough. New Orleans needs more of you Dr. Hunter. Thank You
I was a patient of Dr. Hunters when he worked at another hospital. I did not choose him, but there was a shortage of female doctors who worked in PTSD. Dr. Hunter assessed my PTSD condition. At first I was skeptical of a having a male doctor due to my trama. But no worries. Dr. Hunter was caring, sympathetic, understanding, and patient with me. He listened to me without judgement. He helped me to understand the minds natural response to the trama I experienced. Using applied therapies I am good
