I’ve been going to Dr Galeno for the last 8 years from 2012-2020. He's done all 5 of my spine surgeries which Did not help. He rushes you I’ve timed my appointments and he’s spent as little as 2 minutes with me and that was it ( no exaggeration) I needed him to fill out papers for My disability which I called and faxed and after a month he said he never got them and that they were probably sitting in a pile of papers on his desk. If you are looking for a kind compassionate doctor he is not the doctor for you.

I HAD DOCTOR GALENO SINCE I WAS 12 AND IM 30NOW IF IT WASNT FOR HIM I WOULD OF BEEN PARALYZED.IT WAS EITHER SURGERY OR BEING PARALYZED I CHOSE SURGERY FOR MY BACK BECAUSE I HAVE SCOLIOSIS.I STILL SEE HIM AND IM ALWAYS GOING TO HAVE HIM AS MY BACK DOCTOR.THANK U DR GALENO.YOUR THE BEST
Dr. Galeno has been my orthopedic doctor since 1995, if it weren't for his expertise in spinal cord surgery I probably would not be walking today,I have had numerous operations that he has performed on me, everyone of my operations were very successful, there are no words to describe this doctor, I would rate this doctor and 11+, thank you Dr. Galeno
Scheduling an appointment is a nightmare. Cant get anyone on the phone, messages not returned. when I finally did get someone on the phone, couldn't get an apt for almost 2 months. Then the 2x i did go, i was kept waiting 45-75 min. Hadn't even looked at my MRI prior to my apt. Didn't answer my questions/concerns, spent 5 minutes or less in the room and walked away while I was asking questions. Put me on a med that is dangerous for me cuz he didn't bother looking over my history !!
He's amazing!!! Kind, informative, takes his time and explains everything! Honest and has a great bedside manner. There's no one else I would trust, I even take my children to him bc he gets how it is especially when it's your child and your so concerned as a patent.
I had spine surgery last January 17 , 2014 and I was lucky enough to have Dr John Galeno as my surgeon , my surgery was pretty evolved and it took 8 hours to complete. Two short weeks after my surgery I was off all pain killers , and I have made a complete recovery , and I'm happy to say that I am 100% pain free for the first time in over 15 years .
