Dr Cowan is an awesome surgeon. His gift has allowed me to be able to live daily without pain. He genuinely cares about improving his patient's quality of life. I would never allow anyone else to touch my spine.
If I could give a zero star review for this mans practice i would. My best friend went for a referral after being in severe pain for months and after an MRI showed two protruding discs and one degenerated disc as well as a massive amount of arthritis in her neck and having nerve pain to the point of shaking at times and upon her first visit to his office was told "there's nothing wrong with your neck". I’m actually shocked to see any negative reviews on Dr. Cowan. I expected to see a 5 star review. He just did my husbands back surgery and we are already recommending him to everyone. He took his time with us in every appointment. He explained things well. His bedside manner is awesome. He prayed with us before surgery and my husband has no pain now. His team is also amazing! They are a 5 star package deal. I highly recommend.
Let's see...my friend just got diagnosed with a brain tumor on a Monday. On Friday her team called a meeting to determine a plan of action. Dr. Cowan didn't show up at the meeting, nor did he call the other doctors back. On Sunday she finally found out he was on a two-week vacation. No instructions, no plan of action, nothing. So my friend sits in her hospital room, waiting for him to grace her with his presence. I don't understand the negativity towards Dr. Cowan. He was wonderful and gracious to me. His bedside manner to me was phenomenal. I've had no complications from surgery. That was 3 months ago as of now.
