Joe and his team renovated my back lawn a few months ago. I asked for all new reticulation, the ground levelled, and new lawn laid. No top soil was put in as apparently it didn’t need it. Also no weed killer was put down before hand. I questioned this, and was told not to worry, that top dress is how you sort it afterwards (with a very sarcastic and condescending attitude).
