I've gotten my physical with Dr Fernandez for several years now and initially liked going to him for physicals. The last couple of visits I noticed a weird condescending attitude and left very annoyed. I had a health concern and wanted my vitamin levels checked. He gave me a speech saying I shouldn't take vitamins, and was then talked out of getting my levels tested telling me the tests are very expensive. Dr. Fernandez is thoughtful and caring and well - versed in situations which apply to me.
I don’t think I want to wear with the information I needed to fast care for myself.
I am waiting for Joey (he doesn’t deserve to be called a doctor)to leave this practice so I can come back. As someone who works in the Clinical Skills departments at several medical schools, Joey personifies what a bad practitioner of medicine is. He’s condescending, easily threatened when you advocate for yourself, rude, and unprofessional. Avoid and go somewhere else.
