Best Pizza I've had since I've moved to this state – Thought all hope was lost in ever having good pizza again after I moved here 9 years ago. You ain't gonna find a better pizza outside of New England than Joey Brooklyn's... As a matter of fact, I'm ordering some now : )
NASTY!!!!! – This place is nasty! The guy at the counter took my friends $$$, didn't wash his hands and put his hands in the pepperoni to add it to the cheese pizza she ordered. I said, excuse me sir, you didn't wash your hands. He told me he just touched her $$ for a second, and he washes his hands millions of times a day. I told him this was NOT GOOD! and he needed to wash his hands. He sarcasticlly said, "really???" We took our money and went to Fortunado's down the road. THIS IS UNSANITARY!!! Do not go!!
Joey's is the go to place for New York style pizza. Very good!
Best Pizza I ever had true story – This is really the best pizza I have ever had. Tried Brazilian pizza places that were "supposed" to have authentic italian pizza and thought they were just ok.Tried Grimaldi's famous pies and thought they were the best then. But it wasn't until my trip to downtown St.Petersburg when I would find the real deal. The real napoletana pizza (new york style) it's definitely there... Get back to me on that....and hey!......don't mention it.It's always a pleasure.
MMMMMM good! – I love love love this place. It's the best pizza I've had in a while. The only thing I do not like is that the employees are rude and unfriendly. I would rate this place a 5 if it weren't for that fact.
NOT! – I got my first two slices of pieces with their special of $4.95 that includes the drink. I was very disappointed. It had a funny taste and I think it was the cheese. The pizza tasted like one of those that you get in the frozen section at the grocery store.
the question remains – I'm about to have my first food from here... I've been here for 23 years, I,m 25 I like the area and maybe this will make it just that much better. I'll get back to ya.
FINALLY!! I found great pizza in St Pete!! – I was beginning to think it was a lost cause. This is perfect New York style pizza! I am in love and have been back 3 times in two weeks!! I can't wait to go back for another slice
