My friend had my car and it broke down. He brought it there, and this mechanic said the valves were bad, causing vehicle jump timing. Told him he needed a whole new engine. Actually, I took it to my own mechanic, and had it repaired. It was a blown head gasket, which damaged the radiator as well. Nothing is wrong with the timing chain.
