We had such a great weekend away! We loved how the cabin wasn't too far from the main road, but was tucked away just enough in the mountains to create the perfect peaceful setting. The cabin had everything we needed to relax and unwind, we never wanted to leave!! We loved being able to cook, but also had the option to go to Weathered Ground brewery just up the road (great wings by the way!). And it's just up the road from Glade Creek Farm where we photograph weddings frequently! We'll definitely be back!
"Retreat" is an appropriate name for the setting of these cabins. I spent 3 nights in the Jungle Boogie in Mountains cabin and wanted to stay longer. This is a super clean property, new construction with just the right amount of amenities to prevent clutter. The decor is well thought out and tasteful. Joe's Ridge Retreat cabins are absolutely beautiful and so comfortable! They are brand new and have everything you could want or need. I especially love the open floor plan to gather with friends or family. The kitchen is stocked with all your cooking needs and the dining room table can seat 6! This is a setting that feels like home! The setting is completely serene and the amenities make it wonderful to leave your place behind for a moment. I love how the sun lights a room and that it's literally just comforting on your mind to escape at a place like this and enjoy a little bit of a rustic day. However, these cabins aren't 100% rustic inside, you might just feel you found a little piece of paradise! I will definitely be coming back!!
HIGHLY recommend booking a stay at Joe's Ridge Retreat! The Family Mountain Getaway cabin I stayed in with my girlfriends was absolutely perfect. Check-in was flawless and the hosts were responsive and welcoming. The cabin was spotless, had everything we needed to make meals, and the beds were super comfy.
