Our family of four (my wife, our 13-year-old son, our 9-year-old daughter, and I) just stayed at Joe’s Ridge Retreat, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The cabin was spotless, beautifully furnished, and incredibly comfortable — it truly felt like home from the moment we arrived. Every detail was above and beyond. Absolutely loved our stay at Joe’s Ridge Retreat. Arrived to a well stocked cabin that was absolutely immaculate. My 3 kids loved the bunk room and each had their own bed! Only 15 minutes from Winterplace. Inclement weather I would recommend 4wd but the owner was super responsive and was out there clearing the driveway for our departure. Will absolutely return!
Joe's Ridge Retreat is beautiful. Located in the West Virginia mountains on a very quiet road. However, it is within a short drive of many outdoor activities. The owners have done a wonderful job. If we ever visit the area again I will definitely check to see if the cabin is available.
Nice cabin, well maintained. Good location for checking out the parks between Beckley and Bluefield. Very quiet. A ton of deer out here at night be careful driving. Highly recommended.
We truly enjoyed our week in the Boho Getaway for Two Cabin at Joe's Ridge Retreat! The place was spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished, and complete with all the essentials in the kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. We enjoyed the coffee and snacks that were provided, as well.
