Expensive and untrustworthy. Went for an oil change and asked to check/top off fluids under the hood. He proceeds to tell me I have water pump leak, but as I was checking the coolant level today I noticed the cap was broken and he never replaced it nor told me. He is a complete liar and will take advantage of you!! Wish I could give zero stars 😡
I've been coming to Joel since 2015 when i lived in Berks. I drive over an hour from the Philly area nowadays anytime I need something done on a vehicle. I've been to other mechanics here and there to save myself a trip, and they're not nearly as skilled--and wait for it--or AS HONEST as Joel. He recently opened his shop in Birdsboro again and I'm more than happy to drive over an hour and wait with my car. He's knowledgeable and his prices are very fair. I had a perfect experience with Joel Automotive Repairs. I recently moved into the Birdsboro area and noticed Joel's shop on Main Street every day when I drive to and from work. I had a pesky evap issue with my Honda S2000 and I was also due for inspection which brought me to stop by. Joel's shop is open until 7pm and I was able to bring the car by after work. Joel is the real deal . Took my car for inspection and the check engine light was on , fixed what needed to be fixed for that and it needed a few other things for inspection . He fixes things the right way and takes pride in his work. Would recommend him to all . All work was done at a reasonable price . I use to be a mechanic but for medical reasons I can't do some things myself anymore and he fixed things the way I would of . Thank you all .
