A friend and colleague recommended JoEllen Embry a couple of years ago and I couldn't be happier. She is extremely thorough, explains everything, and invites involvement in your own care. That's top of the line for medical professionals, as far as I'm concerned.
I have been seeing JoEllen for three years now, and let me tell you, I have never had better care. I am completely honest with JoEllen and I know she isn't judging, and believe me, there's some stuff back there that is inherently difficult to articulate. She is thorough and doesn't rush you out the door. She gets to know you and your comprehensive health history. I feel like JoEllen is my cool friend who happens to be the best Women's Health NP? When she walks in, I just think, "Oh, thank god!"
The wait time was over an hour. they admitted this was normal, every day. JoEllen had my test results for over a week before reviewing them and informing me of the results. very poor patient service.
