Wish I would have chose someone else
I would not recommend as an oncologist. Barely saw and didn’t get follow up messages.
My family met Dr. Speca on Christmas Day when my 90-yr old father was admitted to Rex with severe abdominal pain and an unidentified mass on his liver. Dr. Speca delivered the biopsy results to us. The prognosis was grim and my father's life measured by days, but I was impressed by the compassion and respect Dr. Speca showed my father, and her genuine concern and empathy for my family. Her medical credentials are impressive, but her genuine kindness and compassion speak to her character.
I have been seeing Dr. Speca for anemia. She is charming and caring and a wonderful hematologist.
