I see in some previous posts that some of the clients are surprised by Joel's direct manner. I've found out that when you are dealing with the law and the courts specifically, straight shooting is the only way. There should be no possibility of misunderstanding. Joel is very knowledgeable about the law (and many other things too). I've used him before and will use him again when I need his help. I can't address his criminal expertise but his civil work is without peer.
I am a Vietnam Era Army Veteran who suffers from many side effects from Agent Orange exposure. I hired Mr.Joe W. Price to represent me in a case. After meeting with him several times, I felt that his mannerism was way to harsh for my liking. Mr.Joe W. Price was very blunt. In response to "Kate H.": You failed to mention that your husband chose to drop the case in the middle of court. You and your husband chose NOT to pay the past due bill. Your husband failed to plan. You and your husband only have yourselves to blame but, instead, choose to blame the one person who did everything he could to help you; including working for free. I am a disabled Vietnam Veteran, not always easy to handle. Joel Price and I met by chance. He was extremely respectful and very aware of me being a Veteran. He spoke to me very honestly and openly, even sharing that his father was a Navy Veteran. Reading the review from 11/28/14 on Mr. Price, I just have to add my story. I used to work in a law office and I know that clients sometimes make impossible demands on a lawyer and his staff. When we hire an attorney, of course we feel as though our case is the ONLY one the attorney is handling. After reading so many wonderful reviews about Mr. Price on here, my husband and I decided to retain him for a custody case involving my stepson. This was early October 2013. Mr. Price told us to gather videos of my stepson at pickup and drop off since his behavior was dramatically different, take pictures of him since he suffered from rashes, bruises, and welts, we obtained police reports, had several witnesses as well. Joel is great lawyer. He helped me in criminal case that was very difficult. He got me a reasonable bond and got me the best results. His costs was cheaper than a local lawyer (saline county) would highly recommend him for anyone. Semper fi David
I am writing this review for Joel W Price. This is before the court date and I'll come back and update some more. Me and My Wife Met with Joel two weeks ago for a free consultation. This was two weeks prior to our court date as well. We went in and discussed our case in extreme depth and he worked with us to figure out what was going on in this custody case.
