Dr. Kahane treated me for dysphagia. After several years of seeking the aid of a different SLP and attempting to search the internet and treat myself with little success from either, Dr. Kahane's methods helped put me on the right path. As of this review, I am not 100% yet, but I have come a LONG way and am continuing to improve. I can tell Dr. Kahane cares about his work and his patients. Dr. Joel Kahane treated me for Puberphonia in 2011 when I was 18. I only worked with him for a few weeks, but in those few weeks he changed my life. I went through all of middle school and high school speaking only in falsetto and was bullied very very badly for it; after working with him I was able to have a normal adulthood and normal life. I’m forever grateful for the work he did 12 years ago and would recommend him to anyone not only in the area but around in country.
