My surgery with Dr. Dragelin was a long time ago, but he’s someone I’ve never forgotten. I’m having some other issues now, and I looked him up out of curiosity to see if he is still in the area. He did an excellent job handling my botched surgery from another doctor at another practice. He didn’t rush me into another surgery he gave my body the needed time to heal itself. His expertise allowed me to recover.
My surgery with Dr. Dragelin was 15 years ago but switching oncologists and finding myself digging up names/dates led me here and I really felt I needed to comment on the negative bedside manner reviews. My ex-h and I jokingly always referred to Dr. Dragelin as "Dr. Doom". We learned quickly that he was going to give us the facts without fluff. Rudest bedside manner ever - should not be permitted to interact with patients or their families. He presents as crass and completely lacks compassion in situations where that would go a long way. I'm sorry that my parent had to be subjected to him. I pray that his loved ones will never be on the receiving end of the kind of treatment he renders.
