I wouldn't give this unethical human being 1 star. I hired Attorney Joedy de Frank on 1/14/2025. I fired him on 1/29/2025 He didn't know what he was doing. He acknowledged I fired him and sought counsel elsewhere ...I have a second letter where he perjured himself. He's rude , unkind, Dishonest. I have no receipts or invoice for a retainer fee in the amount of $ 6,000 he returned documents however kept all of my retainer fee. He did nothing!! This guy is an absolute ass hat. Just spoke on the phone and he doesn't have any idea how to talk to people.
I hired Joedy to handle my divorce closure in almost two years of being on my case I received no legal support or advice all he was was an attorney by name. Constantly wanting more retainer but it took almost four months to get a breakdown of my initial retainer. I do not recommend hiring Joedy, he is very forgetful and rude does not prepare for case conferences on at least 3 times. Do not hire read the reviews!!!
Extremely unimpressed with his demeanor. DeFrank accepted the case from the LegalEase system provided through my employer. While I initially took his abruptness, rudeness and general demeanor as he was very busy but as I thought of a few of the things he said such as "Oh, thats going to be complicated and may be expensive". This is an adult adoption of my step-son who we specifically waited for him to be old enough that basically we should just need to fill out and sign forms and turn them into the Sac County Family Courts. ... read more
