I chose Dr. Owens to be my Doctor two years ago after my previous doctor, who I had seen for 35 years retired. I have only good things to say about Dr. Owens and his staff. The qualities I most appreciate are that he: actively listens to me, doesn't beat around the bush, has great breadth and depth of knowledge, has accurately diagnosed my health issues and is willing to explain and teach me how to improve my health. I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone! He walked in dismissive based off of past hospital results, I brought in a list of my symptoms and he told me NO ONE ever has a long list like this, he said I need to consider surgery for my weight since I “say” the shots didn’t work for me. He also told me that just looking at me there is nothing wrong and I needed to be more mature about trying to maintain my health all while I was crying about him saying all my issues were my weight and depression. Dr Owens and his entire staff including Rosa and Judy are all highly professional and caring. They are extremely well informed and knowledgeable and they really care about their patient’s well being. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a medical provider.
I visited Dr. Owens for the first time after my previous PCP dropped my insurance plan. I think his office is excellent, and I'm happy I found him!
