Jody is the first hair stylist I have found who asks me if there is anything I'd like to adjust, rather than asking if I like the cut - she makes it collaborative, which is super helpful if you are an anxious people-pleaser! I got a “deva cut” because I have curly hair. Her site mentions a higher price for first session because it comes with a consult on how to style and manage curly hair, which I didn’t get. Not sure why I paid so much for this session when she didn’t teach me anything. Also this cut was NOT worth the price. She gave me bangs and they are not even at all. Jody does a great job with color and cuts. I have difficult hair and have never been disappointed. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
