I have had the benefit of having Dr Veltkamp evaluate my parent for cognitive issues and my kids for learning assessments. She is kind and professional which helped both my father and my son feel trusting and at ease. Her evaluations have given us insight in how their brains were working and lots of ways to help.

An older man I know was required to be evaluated by Veltkamp. Even though he did fine on the test, at the end she said he couldn't handle his finance and had no short term memory. Both of those are totally wrong. He actually does an excellent job of his finances and his short term memory is normal. Do not trust this person.
