While Dr Wilder is a very nice person, she is not very confident in her abilities. She doesn't ask a lot of questions which leaves the patient to keep things going. She has literally google searched in front of me when I've asked her something. Maybe it's because she is new, but I prefer having a doctor who is confident and self assured. The last straw was when she was out for one reason or another and there was no other doctor covering for her...I was told to go the Urgent Care...I have never heard of a doctor being out for... read more
Dr. Wilder is awesome, very good listener and super knowledgeable. She did go on an extended leave a while back but I was able to schedule around that. Been seen here over 3 years. Advent Health is well connected so your history and meds are shared (unless you decline) among referrals.
I was an in- patient at Advent and needed to seek a primary physician. I was given her name by a nurse who took care of me there. Dr Wilder is very competent, understanding, listens and doesn't rush you out of the office. I'm a nurse and have been in the healthcare field 40+ years and I tend to be pretty critical, I'm extremely satisfied with the care provided by her. If this doctor is going on a KNOWN leave of absence, why in the world would the office schedule appointments during that time and then TEXT, not even call to inform the patients of the canceled appointments? I scheduled an appointment for myself and my husband (we were given a 2 month wait to see the doctor) and was never told of any kind of leave of absence.
