Dr. Philipose was very thorough and attentive to my reason for being there. The problem came after, when he said I needed some testing done. Apparently his medical assistant did NOT fax my Referral Order to the scheduling office of the appropriate facility where I need to go. I called the Drs ' office and one of his staff said they would resend it. I waited one week and never got a call to schedule my test. I called the facility and was told they did not receive a order for me but got some notes(?) I called the Drs.' office ... read more

Update: while I was waiting for my appointment with Dr. Philipose, I witnessed his MA Elena meet a salesman in the lobby to sign a contract and clearly heard her tell him she was trying to sign "just like her mom does." She was blatantly forging her mother's name on a contract. I brought this up to Dr. Philipose and informed him of my concerns of her deceptive documentation process. Pros: Plenty of parking by the hospital that faces the mountains. The waiting area is mid sized. I had no issues with scheduling and the EGD/colonoscopy procedure prep and recovery was done very well, imo, at MountainView Hospital and was a very easy recovery also. I would recommend this mostly pleasant GI provider for routine GI care and screening but probably not for more complicated medical histories like mine.
