Dr. Jacob is one of the few physicians in the area that sees all of his patients personally, without the assistance of an APRN. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of his field and takes careful consideration in the treatment and care of all of his patients. He specifically and carefully develops a treatment plan for each patient, individually, based on their presentation of symptoms. I have been a patient of Dr. Jacob’s for around 10 years and I am very pleased with his care. I have ulcerative colitis and was very displeased with my previous Dr. for several reasons. Anyhow, when I switched to Dr Jacob’s care I was very ill. My colitis was very active and uncontrolled and it seemed that if I kept going the way I was going I would end up like my aunt and grandfather (both had their colons removed due to ulcerative colitis). Dr Jacob is a wonderful doctor. My husband and I both are patients of his. He listens to us and our concerns and gives positive feedback. He will not rush or push you into a procedure if he doesn’t think you need it. He’s very patient and kind. I would recommend him to anyone.
