Dr. Halbrecht told me she would never do rotator cuff surgery on my shoulder because I ruined the environment by having had a steroid shot in that area, but that her physical therapists would fix me up. I had rotator cuff surgery from Dr. Weider, Boulder Centre for Orthopedics, in September 2019 and after 7 months my shoulder strength and range of movement feel almost back to what it was. I have followed the physical therapy regiment and had PRP about 6 weeks after the surgery.
Dr. Albrecht is great! Present, confident, sharp. She has anatomical models to introduce joint anatomy and interprets X-rays referencing back to the same. You get treated and educated! And the staff is warm, friendly and efficient. And there are excellent jokes posted on the wall of the Xray room.
Great doctor! She has a wonderful network of Physical therapists and imaging technicians to ensure that you get the best care. Thank you, Doctor.
Dr Halbrecht is absolutely top notch. As an older patient, I have had lots of knee problems over the years which affected my ability to ski and forced me to ride a cart while playing golf. Dr Halbrecht did a brilliant job repairing my meniscus tear and then injected fat after the surgery which made all of the difference. Highly recommended. Years ago, another surgeon (now retired) operated on both knees. When the ache became more severe, I looked for a new doc. I went to three and, maybe because they didn't want to touch another surgeons work or because I was only about 40 then, they all told me to take ibuprofen and ice and would do no more.
