My wife and I had a chance to heal until this "professional" introduced herself by first stating "I can help you find a way into and through divorce. Or healing if that's what you want." Who begins sessions with new clients like that?!! My wife and I are divorced now.
Not helpful, just insults. You’re not supposed to take on clients you hate, they can tell. That’s the first thing they teach in psychology. Just a money grab and no real help at all.
Joanna is fair and supportive of both of us when we discuss our relationship challenges. She coaches and encourages us to better express our own feelings and needs and to listen to our partner's. She has a wealth of tools and resources for every situation we've come across. She listens carefully and provides thoughtful, measured advice.
Me and my now ex wife went in for counselling with Joanna Jewell and with only one session she decided to take my ex's side. I explained how my ex was physically, verbally and emotionally abusive but she gave my ex an escape plan. She never offered me any advice on what I should do in a abusive relationship. Now I've been fighting for my children in court for over 2 years now. From my experience she takes sides and takes no time in doing so. The only help she was was to tear me apart from my children.
