This woman is not a doctor (as some of the reviews state) but only a nurse practitioner. A lot of these reviews are fabricated by friends or family and do not reflect the actual quality of the business or medical care provided. She is contracted with the VA to perform physicals, but her objective appears to be to prevent service members from receiving proper compensation from the VA. This was the worst encounter with a healthcare provider of my entire life. This woman was extremely rude and frankly incompetent. As a healthcare provider myself I can attest to her lack of professionalism AND medical knowledge. She actually yelled at me during the appointment and performed numerous physical exam maneuvers incorrectly. Furthermore, other reviews refer to her as "doctor." This woman is NOT a doctor, she is a nurse practitioner; one that lacks any empathy and who has subpar education and training.
NP Joan is one of the best NPs I’ve encountered. Very professional, yet warm and welcoming, making every visit comfortable. She is also incredibly responsive, ensuring that any questions or concerns are addressed quickly. I appreciate her dedication and patient-centered approach!
I’ve had a great experience at JoaniesHealth Inc. They are always friendly, approachable, and truly take the time to listen to any concerns. Her responsiveness is impressive – whether it’s during appointments or through follow-ups, I always feel well taken care of. Highly recommend!
