Joan Elkins has lost her medical licenses, so we can all breathe a sigh of relief. She will no longer be able to endanger our lives and the lives of our family members. She was arrested for 3x over the limit drunk driving, endangering her child and prescribing herself controlled substances. She's no longer a menace to society.
Always thorough and candid--and supportive of my thoughts and wishes. Also a great source of information--and as importantly, I trusted her completely.
If there’s were a less than “poor” I would give it to Dr Elkins. After waiting 45 minutes after her appointment time, she was less than interested in my daughter. That was three months ago. After calling and trying to talk to her on the phone for three weeks, she would never return any calls. Instead they made an office appointment When we showed up today, we waited once again and Dr Elkins insisted she never met my daughter and couldn’t help her. Perhaps she’s ready for retirement.
Incredibley unimpressed by her lack of professionalism and pre-determinations of my health without listening to my input. Gave her the benefit of the doubt and went back for a follow up appointment only to be even more frustrated with her behavior than the first visit. Have since left and will not be returning or reccommending to anyone. Healthcare professionals should be helpful not condescending. Telling it like it is is one thing but being outright rude and disrespectful is unacceptable.
She is rude, sloppy and doesn't listen to people. She has her own agenda on what she wants done. I asked about my heart and she set me for every test except a heart exam. She is just padding the insurance companies pockets. I sent a message though my chart. She again responded rudely.
First impression of Dr. Elkins was that she is very sloppy and has her own agenda for her patients, doesn't care about input from patient's family.
Dr. Elkins is a wonderful Doctor and person. She is very caring and tells you like it is. She explains everything to you in a way you can understand. I would highly recommend her as a doctor and I have and that person speaks very highly of her too!??
She is rude and unfriendly. She does look at you or listen to your concerns.
She is the rudest unprofessional doc I have ever met in my life! ! I woukdnt recommend her to my enemy!
