Dr. Walker diagnosed my 75 year old mother with cervical cancer in Oct of 2024. By the end of Jan 2025 she was dead. She put her through a chemo treatment that she was never going to finish. My family and myself reached out to her multiple times for help. And until I canceled the treatments they all went ignored. There is no doubt that Dr. Walker is the best in her field, but what I didn't expect was her compassion. 20 yrs ago I was a very frightened 24 yr old hearing my mom had cervical cancer. I am her only child and was the only caregiver. Dr. Walker was very patient in explaining things to me and hearing every question I had. My mom's cancer came back each year for 2 yrs after the initial surgery. Each time she made a personal call to my mom to advise her that it was back and what would be the plan of attack. If you have a choice and if Dr Walker can accept you, there is an excellent chance you will live longer. I was diagnosed May 2011 with Primary Peritoneal Cancer, which is related to ovarian cancer. Dr Walker performed the debunking surgery July 2011, and began chemo Sept 2011. The study enrolled me into 15 months of weekly then monthly IV infusions.
