They were CONVINCED that I had a Sarcoma, even though TWO BIOPSIES and a PET SCAN, came back inconclusive. They also warted me to undergo RADIATION, which I refused. They removed my tumor, and my ENTIRE right kidney, (unnecessarily) and then whoever sewed me back up, (incision the length of my ENTIRE ABDOMEN) did such a lousy job it looks like the work of an intern on their very first procedure. I had some benign yet painful tumors another surgeon was dismissive of and discouraged me from removing, saying surgery would cause me many complications. I reached out to the James in the hopes that someone there might help me. Dr. Beane met with me and was kind and encouraging. He explained everything about the risks and benefits and offered to remove the tumors if I wanted.
