AN UPDATE: A judgment has been obtained against Evaready Electrical Pty Ltd in the Local Court after a successful claim at NCAT. Evaready is a company that appears to be owned by the son of the director of JMS Electrical. While the invoice was in the name of JMS Electrical, the invoice was paid to the PAYID account of Evaready Electrical. Watch out for this consumers! Enforcement is under way. Don't call them - they are scammers. After paying 195 for the call out fee. The electrician arrived without any tool and ask simple questions before asking you to pay for 500 accessment fee and refused to provide a quote. They said sth about being a level 2 repair and said I have to ask my boss to come to delay further. We refused to proceed with paying the accessment fee and they keep hustling and refused to leave. Agree with all the comments. Definitely avoid at all costs. We should start a class action. Here is an update. The 2 "electricians" had not been able to prove to my husband that they were licensed and my husband had rejected their goods and services. They have refused to refund their crazy fee of $1667 or leave our premises until the police attended. We ended up paying a licensed electrician about $550 to carry out the works. Will not give a correct receipt with itemised information. Tried calling multiple times. Also VERY expensive
Most useless person ever. Charges $200 outcall fee to come - sure. And then "ill need to change 2 lightbulbs for you for $800". Look in the mirror - and look at the person that believes changing 2 light bulbs is worth $800. (And changing the lightbulb isnt even the problem that we needed fixing) Look at all your 1 star reviews - and recognise your worth. We ended up paying $200 - not as an outcall fee. We paid the $200 as an F-off fee. We ended up not paying for a professional to come. We paid to rid the pest out of our home... read more
