Special events are stressul...I am so glad I was convinced to not be my usual frugal self! Our driver was wonderful, a clear communicator, he gave reasonable expectations on wait times in busy areas, he pivoted seamlessly when plans changed, and as the Bride he treated me with courtesy but never made me feel infantilized...having a sense of agency for the after party after a day of ritualized helplessness was so refreshing!
