Drove 5 hours just to view the place because I accepted a job in the area. The place was alright, rent was cheap, and they seemed easy to deal with at first. After applying, they came back and said that my credit score wasn't high enough nor was my income which was weird because my income was 4x the rent and they claimed that I apparently maxed out one of my credit cards that doesn't even have a balance on it and has never? I have been a tenant of JMD apartments for 2 1/2 years now. The first 2 years that I lived were unsettled do to property management. Anything that I needed for general maintenance was swept under the rug and never completed. Not just was it not thought about but always received poor customer service as well. This past year has been a world of difference since the new property manager, Karina took over! I have been here for 10 years I have become to love my neighbors we are like family close to Robinson moon in Kennedy you are dead smack in the middle access to every thing including the hospital our maintenance crew is terrific and we now have a new apartment manager young very eager to make changes for the better just what we needed a breath of fresh air
