Fruit has great prices and we love the overall store but the staff at checkout are not friendly at all. After I checked out I started to bag my own groceries wich is fine but she held up the line by not helping me bag my groceries turned her back towards me and got on her phone, while other people were waiting to be checked out. My non Asian family have experience this rude behavior from staff every single time we come here they don’t even speak when I say hi, maybe is a race thing.
Jmart in Bensonhurst is one of those places where you walk in for a few things and end up filling your cart. They’ve got an amazing variety—fresh vegetables, seafood, meats, and shelves stocked with all kinds of Asian products you won’t find in most supermarkets. The store is spacious, clean, and easy to navigate, which makes shopping here actually enjoyable. Having a big parking lot right outside is a huge plus, especially in Brooklyn.
