I have been using JM Island Tree Service for many years on the North Shore and his tree work is top notch, reasonably priced and he shows up when he says he is going too show up! He is personable and friendly and I would recommend his services to anyone who needs quality tree service.

I noticed a neighbor's cocos looked in pristine shape, so I reached out to them to find out who maintained their trees and the answer came back JM Island Tree Service. I contacted James and he came out a few days later to give me a quote and I was so impressed I asked him to also give me a quote to top a few other trees and hedges. He and his guys worked efficiently and carefully followed my every request as far as the height to trim and what areas to avoid and protect - and they expertly cleaned up all the rubbish afterward... read more

I contacted James to cut down 2 of our Royal palms that were not going to recovery from the wrath of Rhinoceros beetles. ( even though we had been treating organically with another co) He was so good about communicating with me. They are extremely professional, fair and have all the right equipment to take everything away. They were a pleasure to work with... and again.... professional and trust worthy! I am in CA and due to weather they had to do the job when I had gone home . I give the 10 Stars!

James and his crew did a really specialized service for our extremely tall ironwood trees. there was no way to get a vehicle of any kind close to them, so they had to climb these 100 foot trees to cut them down. It was a job that most tree services won't even take on. They came and worked their butts off for 4 days straight just rigging the ropes and working together to make sure the climbers were safe and the trees were not falling on power lines or the house.
