5/21/2025: Transmission acted funny a few times and didn’t quite pull right when we left the shop a couple of years ago and have just avoided pulling heavy items with it but when we called Jeff about our concern, he said it couldn’t have been anything that was related to his repair and it has to be something wrong with the motor. I am so happy with this place! I went to Hellman's Chevrolet and was told that I had a non serviceable solenoid inside the transmission and my transmission needed to be replaced. I went to JLB transmissions and he used his computer and then told me to open my hood? I opened the hood and he pointed to my exhaust pipe and said "do you see the black spot on the exhaust pipe?" Jeff is the best mechanic for transmissions and other Automotive needs in the west slope if not the entire state!!! if you live in the area, I strongly suggest bringing your vehicle to Jeff, he is more than fair in price, and a very hard working individual to get things done! I needed a full rebuild after i grenaded my transmission and I wanted it to be good for more horsepower.
