I wanted a 6 day boat rental, Sunday- Friday however to do so I would have to pay a 5 day rental plus a 1 day rental which would require me to pay a higher price than a simple 6 day rental. I spoke to Wes and he said he couldn’t do anything about the rental price. It all has to go through FareHarbor. There is no Sunday rental so I skipped the additional day. I was disappointed. They need to change there 3rd party reservation service.
I rented their 16 ft fishing boat. The boat worked really well. The staff was very knowledgeable on informing us of the boat's features. The electronics were modern. However the trolling motor does not have an auto pilot feature. I will rent this boat again in the future.
Strongly advise anyone wanting to buy a boat to stay away from J&K Marine! Nothing they say is the truth, they tell you they will install all accessories for free and will even put it on the invoice and then demand you pay 1,200 on delivery for installation. They tell you the boat will be prepped and absolutely nothing was done on delivery. It took 4 weeks to deliver a boat that was in stock of which the same dirt on the showroom still existed when picking it up.
