JJ was very easy to work with. His personality shines through in his voice so well that I decided to use him as our DJ after just one phone call! I did not expect our wedding to have much dancing but JJ kept the party going until the end of the night. I gave him a list of song requests from us and from our guests but besides the ceremony he had free reign on when to play the requests and what to mix in between.
After hearing JJ at a friend's wedding just a few weeks before our own, we decided to hire JJ and are so happy we did! Leading up to the wedding reception was efficient and fun, there was always clarity with what was needed / expected and always a quick response to any call or email. My husband worked in wedding catering for many years, so he knows a good DJ from a bad one, and JJ was definitely one of the best. Being a bit of a music snob, we requested some pretty obscure bop jazz albums for certain parts of the evening, and left it open ended for the rest. Not only did JJ have zero problem with finding the albums we requested, he improvised the open ended portions beautifully and chose great music based on our previous selections. Our wedding planner recommended JJ as our DJ for our May 2015 backyard wedding. One of the best decisions we made was to have him as our DJ!!! He is easy to work with, professional, and kept everything on schedule as the emcee. Music and dancing was a very important part of our wedding and he did a great job keeping everyone out on the dance floor all night having a GREAT time!!!
