Creating a privacy screen from CR 120 using large Spruce, Austrian, and Douglas Fir trees on top of a man made berm. Re are reusing some of the old picket fence to incorporate some of the historical pieces of the property into the new landscape. Trees range in size from 6' up to 16'! Stay tuned for future developments!
We had a fun and challenging day today planting these two huge Spruce trees! One was 24' tall and weighed 7,500#, and the second tree was 20' tall and weighed 6,900#. Both are Colorado Blue Spruce grown at James Tree Farm in Hermosa north of Durango. Head Crane Service assisted has with loading and setting the trees in the holes.
