My experience with JJ Land Service was awesome!! I just purchased a 2 acre wooded lot and reached out to John for an estimate to clean up the brush, level a few of hilly sections, and remove some trees. John came out the next day to actually see the job and to get an understanding of what I wanted to accomplish. For me, it was important to clear the grounds but still preserve the “in the woods” character and charm. John was able to take my idea and create an area better than I could have planned on my own. The brown brick house in the photos is my home I had John excavate the back of the house so It would be a "walk out basement " once again. The previous owner buried a large cement cistern there and had it all back filled in around it other than the cistern i had no idea what else was buried there John scheduled a week to do the excavation and all the dirt removed waa used up on site all cement debris from tank ect was buried out of sight I was extremely pleased with how it turned out the pictures don't fully show the magnitu... read more

John was extremely courteous . Prompt, respectful and thorough. He asked several times during the project if I was happy with the work . When he was finished he confirmed that I was satisfied . He takes great care to do a good job and also takes good care of his equipment . He is highly recommended from this very satisfied customer !

John was very conscientious about his approach and very conservative in his estimate. Unlike many contractors he showed up on time and was very skilled with the machinery necessary to dig 400 feet of French drain plus resolve a cracked pipe in an existing drain. He had planned three days for all of the work that needed to be done which included two drains and cleaning the perimeter of a pond. The weather did not cooperate, but he stuck it out and finished by working too long days to beat the weather. I would highly recommend... read more
