I've been using Jim's travel for several years and they are fantastic to work with. I wouldn't consider using anybody else for my travel arrangements. I have used Judy Martinez on numerous occasions and she always takes care of me better than I deserve to be. She carefully plans the trips beforehand , monitors them during and reviews them afterwards. I really enjoy working with Judy.
I would save my time, money, and frustration and go to kayak.com. The person I dealt with in this office does not know what they are doing, and the owner is very rude and arrogant. After getting frustrated, I said screw it, and went to kayak.com and made my arrangements there for my trip to the Bahamas in an hour and way much cheaper. What took me an hour took them days.
We were coordinating an overseas trip with several family members in different states. Carlson told us they could get us a better rate than what we had found through another agency and online because, supposedly, Carlson had access to group pricing with a large carrier. Well, despite their claims, they couldn't get done. They stalled us by booking partial flights and claiming to work on the rest of the trip. They stalled more by saying they had booked us tickets and then a few days later saying those flights didn't work out.... read more
