Jim's Thriftway is great great small town grocery store. It is great because the liquor store is open till 10. They are very friendly. I would recommend anyone in the area stop in for the small town experience.
All the good qualties you want in a store.. Jim's is a small town store that lives up to all the good qualities you could want in a grocery store. It keeps a sense of neighborhood alive. A small-town bonanza A friendly small-town store with all the benefits of a neighborhood store, yet a wider variety of products than most small-town groceries. Friendly staff and a town gathering spot because of its location right off of Hwy 6.
Jim's Thriftway is a small towns friend Jim's is a great small town store. You can find name brand and organic foods there. Even better they have a selection of local produce. They are friendly and helpful.
this has always been my favorite place to stop on my way to elk camp and get the kids donuts. I stopped today and they are an absolute mess I realize they have to prepackage them but come on in a plastic bag the frosting is stuck to the bag smeared everywhere. why not just put them behind the counter and hand them out like other bakeries do?? or put them in smaller boxes something what a waste!! you just lost a long time customer who usually buys at minimum 3 dozen when I stop.

We LOVE Jim's Thriftway in Banks, Oregon... and we live in Hillsboro. Their products are plenty, the produce are fresh, and the deli is always yummy!
In light of the world we’re living in with the threat of Covid-19- Jim’s has taken an extra step to keep the folks up front safe and added a large plexiglass window around the check outs. My hubby said he was impressed with the new set up to keep the folks up front safe! WTG, Jims!! We are so thankful to have you as our neighborhood grocery store!!
